The Mu Alpha Theta math honor society at Bayshore sent 5 sophomores and 3 juniors to compete in Auburn’s annual MaPP math puzzle hunt competition on February 17th. The team solved puzzles by identifying patterns found in game theory, design theory, and topology, then raced around Auburn’s campus to unlock additional puzzles. They were able to finish the challenge and came home with a first place win, for the second year in a row. Congrats to these tenacious mathematicians!
