Emily Kathleen Adcock
Emily is the daughter of Don and Mary Adcock. Her favorite scripture is Philippians 4:7, ” And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Emily is the Upper School House Service Coordinator, Mu Alpha Theta Vice President, National Honors Society Service Coordinator, BCS Ambassador, and a member of the Civics Club, Photography club, and Varsity Volleyball team. Her favorite BCS memory was bonding with her classmates at SIFAT. Emily says, “Dr. Pierce reminds us often not to take our time for granted, thinking that the next stage of life will be better. We have been taught to stop and enjoy where we are now. Live in the moment!” After graduation, Emily plans to attend college to study engineering.
Lauren Elizabeth Arnold
Lauren is the daughter of Jason and Beth Arnold. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 16:9, ” The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps.” Lauren has been an integral member of the Theatre Department at Bayshore and has participated in numerous theatre productions. The most valuable lesson Lauren has learned from a BCS teacher is the confidence instilled in her by Ms. Darrough. Lauren plans to attend the University of Alabama this fall in pursuit of a Masters in Fine Arts.
Avery Mckinley Bramblett
Avery is the daughter of Andru and Jenny Bramblett. Her favorite scripture is Colossians 3:23, “Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.” Avery has been a member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Photography club, Civics Club, Varsity Volleyball team, co-captain of the Varsity Cheer team, and the secretary of Mu Alpha Theta. Her time at BCS has made her more confident in her faith and what she knows about the Bible. She says she is confident in her ability to defend her faith and what she knows is true. After graduation, Avery plans to attend college to major in business with a minor in psychology in hopes of attending law school in the future.
Riley Nicole Chapman
Riley is the daughter of Scott and Michele Chapman. Her favorite verse of scripture is Psalm 55:22, ” Cast your burden on the Lord, and He will sustain you; He will never permit the righteous to be moved.” Riley is the House Captain for House Aurae, played on the softball team, and serves as the captain of the cheer team. Through Mrs. Werneth, Riley learned how to persevere even when things are hard. After graduation, Riley plans to attend the University of Arkansas to study either marketing or nursing.
Jacquelyn Rose Franz
Jacquelyn is the daughter of Jason and Janelle Franz. Her favorite verse of Scripture is Jeremiah 29:13, “You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek Me with all your heart.” Jacquelyn is a member of Theatre Club, Varsity Swimming, Varsity Tennis, and Varsity Bowling at Bayshore. Her favorite BCS memory was Senior Retreat. Through her teachers at Bayshore, she has learned to discuss and explore her beliefs, to experience the power of forgiveness, and to live genuinely. Jacquelyn plans to attend Baylor University this fall.
Cassidy Danielle Granger
Cassidy is the daughter of Dan and Melissa Granger. Her favorite scripture is II Corinthians 4:16-17, ” Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly, we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all.” Cassidy is the captain of the Volleyball team and a prefect for House Aurae. When asked how her time at Bayshore has impacted her faith, Cassidy said, “It has completely changed my outlook on life because before I came here I wasn’t positive that there were other people like me who loved the Lord, but struggled with a lot of the aspects of faith. It has helped me understand that the love of the Lord will never let me go no matter how far I stray from him.” Cassidy plans to attend Spring Hill College this fall to play volleyball and study chemistry before going on to med school to become a surgeon.
Ashton White Haygood
Ashton is the daughter of Dane and Robyn Haygood. Her favorite scripture is II Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Ashton serves as a prefect for House Aurae, thePresident of Mu Alpha Theta, National Honor Society, volunteer peer tutor, and on the BCS Cross Country Team. Ashton’s favorite subject is math, and the most valuable lesson she has learned from Mrs. Werneth is to invest eternally in her relationships with others. Ashton plans to attend college this fall to study pediatric nursing.
Jacob Dawson Moore
Jacob is the son of David and Sally Moore. His favorite scripture is John 16:33, “In this world you will have trouble, but take heart; I have overcome the world.” Jacob is the Captain of House Terrae, the Captain of the soccer team, a BCS Ambassador, and has played on the bowling and basketball teams. Jacob’s favorite BCS memory is the senior retreat. Mr. Key taught Jacob the importance of writing thank you notes. Jacob plans to attend Mississippi State University this fall to study building science.
William Cole Pendle
Cole is the son of Wayne and Courtney Pendle. His favorite scripture comes from Psalm 18:2, “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.” Cole is a member of House Aquae and the Civics club, and earned a Varsity Letter in baseball. His favorite subject has been Spiritual Disciplines. Cole plans to attend Auburn University this fall to study business.
Olivia Noelle Rainer
Olivia is the daughter of Clay and Mendolyn Rainer. Her favorite scripture is I Corinthians 10:31, “Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.” Olivia is a prefect for House Terrae, sings in Ensemble and Chapel Band, and plays Varsity Tennis and Varsity Volleyball. One of the most valuable lessons Olivia learned from a BCS teacher was “don’t drop your pack”, meaning: don’t just go through the motions or neglect the work God has placed before you— pray for perseverance instead and seek to give God the glory in all things. Olivia plans to attend Covenant College this fall to study Graphic Design.
Madison Mireille Stanhope
Madison is the daughter of Noel and Charity Stanhope. Her favorite scripture is II Corinthians 12:9, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Madison serves as Secretary for House Terrae, Chief of Staff for the yearbook, and Vice President of the National Honor Society. Madison credits her time spent at Bayshore for helping to establish a firm foundation of faith, and the ability to defend that faith. Madison plans to attend Auburn University this fall to study veterinary science.
Bryant Keuler Stevens
Bryant is the son of Tom and Pam Stevens. His favorite scripture is Matthew 22:37-39, “And Jesus said, ‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: Love your neighbor as yourself.'” Bryant is the activities chair for House Ignis and is Varsity Bowling Captain and Varsity Soccer Captain. His favorite subject is Calculus, and his favorite BCS memory was beating Alethia in soccer. Bryant plans to attend the University of Alabama in Huntsville this fall to major in Mechanical Engineering.
Julian Perry Thomas
Julian is the son of Jason and Mollie Thomas. His favorite scripture is John 13:34, ” A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” Jules is the Captain of the Varsity Golf team and a member of Mu Alpha Theta. He enjoys studying Physics and Math, and his favorite BCS memory was playing football out on the field during Grammar School. Jules plans to attend the University of Alabama this fall to study Mechanical Engineering.
Emma Vai Thomasson
Emma is the daughter of Les and Paige Thomasson. Her favorite scripture is Proverbs 31:25, “She is clothed in strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future.” Emma is a prefect for House Aquae, a BCS Ambassador, a member of the BCS Ensemble, and serves on the Yearbook Staff. When asked how her time at BCS has impacted her faith, Emma said, “BCS has shown me that I need self-discipline for a relationship with God, and I have to also establish a connection with him instead thinking God will do it himself.” Emma plans to attendAuburn University this fall to study Biomedical Sciences to become a dentist.
Lydia Hope Walsh
Lydia is the daughter of Ted and Paige Walsh. Her favorite scripture is Psalm 20:7-8. “Some trust in chariots, and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise up and stand firm.” Lydia has served as House Prefect for Aquae, a BCS Ambassador, Huddle Captain of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and is a member of the National Honor Society and Mu Alpha Theta. She has lettered in cross country, volleyball (co-captain), basketball, softball, soccer, tennis (captain junior and senior year), and bowling (captain junior and senior year). Lydia was selected as the regional winner of the Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete Award. Her favorite BCS memory was beating Central Christian in soccer. Lydia plans to attend Mississippi State this fall to study athletic training.
Luke Michael Werneth
Luke is the son of Michael and Jennifer Werneth. His favorite scripture is Proverbs 12:15, “The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice.” Luke is a member of the Varsity Baseball team and captain of the Varsity Bowling team. His favorite BCS memory was taping DP to a tree. Luke learned from Coach Hauge to remain humble while striving for excellence. Luke plans to attend Mississippi State this fall to study building construction science.
Olivia Ann Zakutney
Olivia is the daughter of Mark and Laura Zakutney. Her favorite scripture is II Timothy 1:7, “For God did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind.” Olivia is a member of House Aquae, the Civics club, and the National Honor Society, and has played on the Varsity Softball and Volleyball teams. Her favorite subject is Literature, but Mrs.Werneth and Math taught her the value of perseverance. Olivia plans to attend Auburn University this fall to study Pre-Law.
