What time is the event?

It starts at 2 p.m.

What is the order of events?

2 p.m. Games and Fellowship

3 p.m. Program with a few guest speakers

4 p.m. Meal

4:15-5:30 p.m. Games and Fellowship

6 p.m. Camp out

Are masks required?

Per the Governor’s statewide mandate, masks are required. If you forget yours, we will have extras.

Does anything cost money?

No. The entire event is free!

What is the rain plan?

Local meteorologist say the rain should be out of our area by 1 p.m. The ground may be a little wet so rain boots might be a good idea. In the event of a pop up shower, we have covering for 500 people.

What is the dress code?

Casual. Dress comfortably. Closed toed shoes are recommended.

Do I need to bring a chair with me?

No. We have seating for 500.

Can I bring my neighbor’s kids?

Yes! All are welcome.

Will there be restrooms?

Yes. A BCS parent has donated a restroom trailer.

Are there tickets to ride the hot air balloon?

No. Weather permitting the balloon will fly from 4- 6 p.m. Students and parents are encouraged to get a spot in line  for a chance to ride.

My child has signed up to volunteer. Where do they report?

All volunteers should check in with Emily Allen-Beech at the check-in table upon arrival.

Will merchandise be sold at the event?

No. Merchandise can be purchased at school during regular school hours.

Where will I park?

Parking will be on site. BCS Ambassadors will direct you when you arrive.

We are thinking about camping. What are the requirements?

We encourage families to bring a tent and camp out! Please set up your tent near the back of the property closet to the tree line. You will have access to the restrooms throughout the night and morning. You may build a small fire with branches on the property with adult supervision. Lighters and matches will not be provided. Dinner will be served during the cookout. If there are left overs, they will be placed in the home on the property should anyone want more. Please pack up all your belongings by 10 a.m. on Sunday.

Bring the entire family and join us on Saturday October 24th for the Campaign Cookout. We’ll have 25 different activities for the kids to enjoy! Come fellowship with other BCS families and enjoy a free meal catered by HWY 27 Grill! The entire event is free and open to the entire family. We hope to see you there.
