Congratulations to Dr. Holly Pursley and Bayshore students (Caylee Dean, AJ Macaro, Georgia Byrd, Caisson Bozeman, Nicole Busby, Kierstyn Toxey, Ashlyn Scism, Joey Robertson, Kathryn McCammon, SarahBeth Williams, Alexandra Brousseau, & Caroline Wilber) for winning deuxieme prix (2nd place) in the 2020 National French Week Media Contest for the video “Tout est possible avec le francais.” This award was presented by the American Association of Teachers of French (AATF.)
The mission of the American Association of Teachers of French is to promote throughout North America the teaching and learning of the French language and French-speaking cultures and civilizations. The professional organization welcomes and supports educators of French at all academic levels as they seek to broaden their own and their students’ linguistic and cultural horizons to foster and strengthen cross-cultural understanding.
The AATF currently has 70 active chapters across the U.S., divided into 9 regions.
