Creativity and engineering skills were on full display as Bayshore Christian School Grammar School students participated in the annual Egg Drop Contest. Students were challenged to design and build a protective structure that would keep a raw egg intact when dropped from above, putting their problem solving and design skills to the test.
Projects were judged in two categories: Engineering and Creativity.
In the Engineering Category, awards were based on the lightest project with an egg that remained intact after the drop.
1st Place: Grayson Lowe
2nd Place: Waylon McLean
3rd Place: Sadie Ruth White
In the Creativity Category, projects were voted on by teachers and administrators for their originality and imaginative design.
1st Place: Eva Rose Russell
2nd Place: Sawyer Scott
3rd Place: John Will Kahlbau
The Egg Drop Contest is always a favorite event for Grammar School students, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and hands on learning as they explore basic engineering concepts in a fun and memorable way.
Congratulations to all of the students who participated and showcased their hard work and ingenuity.
