Bayshore Parent Community

Welcome to the Bayshore Parent Community for BCS families!

The BPC aims to provide opportunities for Bayshore Christian School parents and grandparents to:

  • Participate in their student’s education

  • Encourage faculty, staff, students, and each other

  • Enjoy the community and fellowship of like-minded families

If we focus on our common goal—raising a generation who love the Lord— and then build relationships through shared experiences, our community will grow and flourish. Together, we can build a strong, faith-filled community to surround our students and school leaders.

We invite you to join us in this worthy endeavor. Go Eagles!

Frequently Asked Questions

The BPC leadership team works with the Head of School and Principals to identify ways parents can support the school’s endeavors. BPC parents help with planning, set-up and clean-up of school events. We host a yearly Book Fair at each campus. We provide monthly birthday cakes for faculty and staff. We meet weekly to pray for our students and teachers. We provide a faculty and staff appreciation luncheon each May. We oversee the used uniform sales. We provide fellowship opportunities for families throughout the year.

All families of enrolled Bayshore students are automatically members of the BPC.

Nothing is required, but we hope parents will choose to participate.

There is no cost to join–membership is free. The school provides funding for all the major events and purchases the items needed for the events. Parents are primarily asked to donate time, muscle and energy. GS Parents will be asked to assist with classroom Special Days which typically involve costumes, props, and themed food items. Occasionally, a sign-up link will be sent out that asks parents to donate a homemade birthday cake for a faculty and staff appreciation event. BPC raises money through the used uniform sales and ice cream sales to fund the yearly Faculty & Staff Appreciation Luncheon in May. Proceeds from the Book Fairs are donated to a specific need—typically an enhancement to the school libraries.

BPC is led by a GS President and an L&R President. The school Principals appoint the Presidents. The other BPC leaders are nominated by the Presidents and approved by the Principals.
